1  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Joomla 1.0.12 Virtumart 1.0.10 CB 1.02 and SMF 1.1.2 on: May 08, 2007, 03:40:20 AM

The regular joomla 1.0.12 index.php is causing lots of problems with virtuemart checkout. I would like to try to use the joomla ecommerce version 1.0.12 index.php with the smf bridge component.

Can somebody please provide a smf bridge Patched joomla 1.0.12 ecommerce version index.php?
When I try to apply the patch using the patch tool in the configuration of the smf bridge component it spits an error.

Searching forums for days now trying to figure out how to get Joomla, CB, SMF, and Virtumart to work together.

Joomla 1.0.12 (regular not virtuemart ecommerce edition)
CB 1.02
SMF 1.1.2
SMF Bridge component 2.02
Virtumart 1.0.10
CB-Virtumart Plugin 0.1.9 patched by tug and laurell

All is fine and good if you register first before posting or shopping. And that's pretty amazing in itself.

However, the problem occurs when an unregistered shopper tries to check out(using cb login) they don't get sent back to the cart. Instead, after entering in their registration information, they get sent to a comprofiler page with a javascript error "Incorrect Username and Password. Please try again."

If they click that they get another error "Incorrect username and password" folowed on the next line by "Registration Complete" and a third line... "You may now login"

I don't think this is an smf-bridge error, but I'm not sure if the smf-bridge patched index.php file may be a part of it.

I do think it has something to do with sending or parsing the correct return url when shoppers submit their registration... in order to send the shopper back to the cart logged in, to continue checkout.

It seems to me the return URL is faulty or it's not being read correctly... and to throw in another variable... the shopping cart registration page and checkout pages are secure https pages.

It may be the CB-Virtumart bridge, however if any SMF geniuses can help it will make my day.

I think the joomla 1.0.12 virtumart ecommerce edition (vm 1.0.10) index.php is different than the standard joomla 1.0.12 index.php.

The standard joomla index.php can be automatically patched by the joomla-smf bridge component (version 2.02), but patching the ecommerce version throw up an error. Something about, can't find the code....

I think you can run virtumart and smf by using the the bridge and the standard index.php

Similar problem. Unregistered users get a javascript warning "https://www.mysite.com" "invalid usename and password. Please try again." and once they click that away a html page comes up with "Incorrect username or password. Please try again.
Registration Complete!
  You may now login."

The html page is https://www.mysite.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler

How do I get the new customers to register and get back to their checkout page instead of the above mess?

Joomla version is: 1.0.12
VirtueMart 1.10
CB 1.0.2
CB Virtuemart plugin 0.1.9 (with updated patch from Tug above)
SMF version is: 1.1.2
Joomla-SMF version: 2.0.2
