I hear what you're saying about the XHMTL, but HTML table code is / should be standard, right?
4  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Mambots / newly created SMF articles all messed up when using disccusbot on: February 23, 2007, 05:41:33 PM
Hi all

I hope someone could assist me with this one. Most of my website has some standard HTML formatting in the content (tables, lists, bold / italics, etc). I installed discussbot, and the moment I click the link to make a disccussion, it creates it ok - so far, so good. But, most articles are misformed. Instead of parsing the HTML formatting code, it prints it out on the forum, thus creating a mess.

The link below is a sample of what the content looks like on my website:
http://www.softdux.com/web_hosting/linux_hosting_packages.html

And the following link, is the content created in SMF:
http://forum.softdux.com/index.php?topic=81.msg88;topicseen#msg88

I'm running:
Joomla 1.0.12
SMF 1.1.1
JSMF 2.0.2
Discusbot 2.0.1
5  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Modules / Re: Recent Topics Fatal error: Class 'jsmfFrontend' not found on: February 23, 2007, 05:28:55 PM
Hi Wolverine. So are you aware of the problem?

The URL is http://www.SoftDux.com - it has nothing todo with SMF, as the error is in Joomla, not in SMF. The only place I saw it though, was on the Print icon
6  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Modules / Re: Recent Topics Fatal error: Class 'jsmfFrontend' not found on: February 23, 2007, 06:59:58 AM
I get the same error, but only when accessing the Print icon (from the Print / PDR / Email icons), and I have patched the index.php file

Any suggestions?

11  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Mambots / Re: Discussion Bot Link under Readmore Link on: February 21, 2007, 07:06:26 PM
Is there anyway to remove the discussion link from certain articles if the discuss all option is selected?
12  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Mambots / Re: Can discussbot auto-create topics only from news in specified category? on: February 21, 2007, 07:04:01 PM
Yes- I'll add this to the todo list. We need a way to map certain Joomla sections/cats to different boards.

I'll work this into a future update if I can.
-Kevin

Hi Kevin

Do you know when this will be done?
13  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Modules / Re: Mod Recent Topics - Choose boards/categories? on: February 21, 2007, 06:54:43 PM
it would be nice if this could be a feature, where one could select / specify these from the backend, especially if you want to have say 3 / 4 different catagories, and don't want to / don't know how to hack the code to get it to work
14  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Components / Re: invite/recommend link don't show up on: February 21, 2007, 06:51:04 PM
have you tried creating a menu of type component for it?
Was there perhaps a readme file in the downloaded zip file?
Have you tried the joomla forums?
