Thanks for that - it turned out the permissions were not writeable for those two files, therefore nothing happened when I patched them (d'oh davie).
So, I CHMODed them to writeable, then went back  patched the two from ADMIN> COMPONENTS>> JOOMLA SMF FORUM>>> INSTALL  ...  & then did "Verify" and all seems to be working fine now.

I changed the two files back to their original unwriteable CHMOD - is that correct?

Phew... many thanks for your help, I'm glad someone knows what he's doing!

Hi, I get the following messages after installing 2.0.2

Fatal error: Undefined class name 'jsmffrontend' in /home/smartweb/public_html/sleeptalksupport/modules/mod_smf_login.php on line 107

(I get similiar messages in the other 2 mods.. Jooma SMF Recent Topics and Who's Online too..

Wht have I done wrong in the install??

OK... I have reinstalled Joomla, SMF and Community Builder. Now do I need to install the Joomla-SMF bridge from SMF (file name: SMF 1.1 Joomla Bridge 1.1.6)

OR

Do I just simply install JSMF CB plugin 2.0.1

My apologies for being a nuisance, but the pdf JSMF User guide 2, 2.1.4 on page 5 mentions the file: JSMF_2_X_unzip1st.zip

OK, having re-read the manual - jsmf user guide 2, I have decided to reinstall from scratch..  I think I may have installed two different bridges, and I specifically want the features that wolverine has done.

I have downloaded smf and installed CB to my website and then installed the smf bridge from their site. In following the instructional pdf (thankyou) from joomlahacks it mentions the above plugin cb_smf_plugin_2x to integrate CB joomla and SMForum.
However it wasn't included with the SMF bridge.
Could you please advise where I can download it(cb_smf_plugin2x.zip)from?
