1  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Username/Realname on: September 24, 2007, 09:35:48 AM
Check the configuration in Joomla Administration panel. There's an option to choose what name to sync.

http://www.yourwebsite.com/administrator/index2.php?option=com_smf&task=config

The 2nd option, choose Enable (the first one)  to sync usernames. Choose Disable (2nd) to sync real names.

Hope it helps, bye Wink

Use the search function. Wolverine posted some time ago a SQL query to solve this.

I think it was on the FAQ Wink

3  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: CB JSMF Recent Posts Plugin: Link To All Posts? on: September 18, 2007, 01:00:06 PM
You can go through forum profile (in Forum Profile tab, at the bottom), and then navigate there. That link must be somewhere, and you can -somehow- copy the part of the sourcecode over that applies to 'all posts'.

But, it's not that easy, actually Wink
4  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: JSMF 2.0.2.1 on: September 18, 2007, 12:57:27 PM
Well, there's no visible changes. v2.0.2.1 just makes the bridge compatible with Joomla! 1.0.13. Wink

Have you also deleted the one in administrator/components?
6  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: users are redirected to smf homepage after making posts? on: September 10, 2007, 09:01:28 AM
It has to do with your SMF theme config. Not the bridge.

In your current theme options, click the tab named "reset options" or something similar. Choose your theme and click the 2nd entry. Now it should display several options to reset. The one that you must modify is the 6th, more or less.

Bye! Hope it helps.

Hey Kevin, thanks for your effort!

Does this version work properly with the latest CB (v1.1) using the CB-login? If not, could you please make it compatible?

Thank you so much!

PS: Someone make this sticky!
8  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Remove Joomla's main menu when SMF forum wrapper in Joomla's front page on: June 01, 2007, 03:32:13 AM
I tried doing what Dale L. Brackin has suggested, but it was a pain having to do the same again when I added a new menu item.

So, I dug into the template system. Duplicate your current template, and assign the new one to the forums. Then, add the PHP code in order to remove all the calls to the module that is serving the menu, usually "left".

Hope it helps Wink
9  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Modules / Re: Mod Recent Topics - Choose boards/categories? on: December 29, 2006, 10:49:43 AM
I think that showing posts from an specific category works, but not exluding one of them. At least, from my poor knowledge, both codes are identical. Please, I'm interested A LOT in excluding a category, help me^^ Thanks in advance!
