When I click a username to view a profile, I get only "Hacking Attempt..." on the screen. This only happens in the bridged forum. When using the forum on it's own without the bridge, I can view profiles without issue.
I am running: Joomla 1.0.12, SMF 1.1, Artio JoomSEF, SMF Bridge, Joomlatwork SEF Patch Extended.
Hello. I am looking for a Joomla module that I can put on the front page of a website that will display the SMF forum board titles as links and also show how many topics each one has, etc. Does something like this exist? The SMF people won't help with this when you don't use their bridge. They gave me a module they made for this, but it only works with their bridge. I could supply this to someone that would know how to edit it to make it work.
Hello, I'm about to upgrade my bridge to the newest release but have a problem. I also use the SEF Patch Extended from Joomlatwork, which also patches the Joomla index.php file. I also use Artio JoomSEF, which I know is not a problem. Can you provide a patched index file that will work with BOTH the new bridge and the SEF Patch Extended? I can email you the SEF patch file if needed. Also, I'm using Joomla 1.0.12. Thanks.
I got it fixed. I had finished the bridge setup for the main site, but not the 2nd site. The 2nd one does work as a subdomain though... http://site.domain.com. Regardless, it's all good now. Thanks.
I have this bridge working on a site, but am now trying to use it in a different setup. I have two Joomla 1.0.11 sites running that share the same database with each other AND with SMF. The 2nd site runs on a subdomain of the first, but SMF is installed under the first domain. Follow me so far? So, both SMF and the 2nd site are subdomains of the first site. I want to run the bridge from within the 2nd site. I am trying and just getting nothing... no errors, just a blank content area. Please help ASAP.
I'm also having the issue of falling out of wrapped mode on login and logout, but not just admin. I have a post in this forum with no answer yet. Anyway, I just looked through the user guide and could find nothing dealing with this issue.
I have tried different options there and just tried the exact combo you're using, but still have the same problem. On another site, I have it set to use CB on login and registration. Works fine. But that setting doesn't work on this other site either. Both sites are running all the same component versions and are on the same server. I don't know what the deal is.
Is there an admin out there that can shed some light on the issue? It would be much appreciated.
I have the Joomla SMF bridge setup on a site that is NOT using CB. In the Bridge config, I have selected to use the SMF registration and the Joom-SMF Login. I have the bridge component on my mainmenu and it works. BUT, after I login, the forum loads at it's original UNbridged address. So, I lose the Joomla site after logging into the forum. Please help. Thanks.
I'm using Joomla 1.0.11, SMF 1.1 Final, and the Joom-SMF Bridge 2.0.
I am trying to get this SMF bridge installed, but before I go and change everything that is already setup, I'd like to know how well it works with Artio SEF. The bridge that SMF provides does not work well with Artio. Please advise. Thanks.
