LEFT JOIN smf_members ON smf_ members.memberName = jos_users.username WHERE smf_members.memberName IS NULL;

I have a similar problem with users who dont exist in both joomla / smf databases , try sync'ing your users again.

have a look in the configuration.php file in your joomla root directory and remove the trailing slash from the following line

Code:
$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://yourdomain.com/';

Hi There ,

First of ... great hack works like a charm Smiley

One question though what’s the sql query used to sync SMF / Joomla users? The query keep timing out on my forums I have 10654 users and it keeps stopping around the 10 000 mark. I want to run this command locally on the machine if possible.

Also my forum has for years been at mydomain.com/forums , so people hit the forum index directly circumventing the bridge. Is there a way I can stop them doing this?

Thanks Smiley

Cheers

Hi There ,

First of all I tip my hat to the hard work that has gone into this project and the level of support provided in this forum !

Ive done a search and read the user guide but havent been able to find an answer to my problem.

I am unfortunally on a windows host and am getting the following error when attempting the forum patch.

Failed: Permission problem, unable to open file: C:/rahrahrahrah/wwwroot/forums/index.php

I got the same error with the joomla patch but was able to manually upload a replacement , so my question is ... is there a manual process for the smf patching?

Joomla: 1.11
SMF: 1.1 Final
CB: 1.0.2

Thanks
