It is possible to use forum without beeing wrapped and let joomla user to log in? I try to do that but old users can't login ("Password incorect"), only new users can do that. More, i can't use it wrapped because i get 404 error. For example, a link like this it's not work: http://www.mallromania.ro/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,27/

but it's work like that:

http://www.mallromania.ro/forum (with open sef enable it)

I try to disable open sef, to cleanup my trash, nothing work

I use Joomla 1.0.12, JSMF 2.0.2, Open Sef, forum is installed in the same database with joomla

Can i use Joomla-SMF together with Hotproperty? In this moment, users are sign in as Agent instead of Registered. It's ok if i want to use with JoomlaBoard but i would like to have more features in forum.

Sometime, this error appear:

Line 611 is:

  if (!($dh = opendir($dir))) {
            return $this->raiseError('JSMF_Cache_Lite : Unable to open cache directory !', -4);
        }
.....

Cache and db folders are set to 777

Any ideea what to do?

Check for IUSR_YOURCOMPUTERNAME and see if have all rights enabled

Yes, both SMF and Joomla are installed in the same database; prefix for SMF is forum

I see this message about changing realname to username for existing users. My problems are:

1. I check this topic  http://www.joomlahacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,94/topic,2665.msg13149#msg13149 which answer to one of my question but..where i can find table smf_members? I use JSMF 2.0, SMF 1.1 RC3, my forum is installed in /forum folder and the only table i see using "smf" is jos_smf_config. But i have forum_member..it's the same table? Looks the same to me but I want to be sure

2. How about new members? Do i have to do same action in sql for each new member?

  Sorry, but i have no iJoomla or Missus installed, i use Virtuemart for shopping. I also try to list this module in other sections than home page, same error. Do you have a list of known modules which who Latest topics module might have problems, except those listed above?
