1  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Modules / Re: Joomla and phpAdsNew Integration on: November 20, 2006, 12:11:55 AM
Okay this is weird, but now it's working. I'm not sure what I did, but when I made my previous post nothing was displaying. Then I tried something else and was getting a parse error message, and then I copied the code again without the full path and now it's working. I'm not sure what I did, but I'm glad it works.

Cheers,

Andrew

Thanks for the article, but I'm having some problems with this. I've been using phpAdsNew for a few years and currently have a banner running on my existing site. I'm setting up a joomla site on the same server and attempted to get the same banner running with same invocation code.

But it's not working. I first tested KL evalPHP in the top module and it displayed "Hello World" just fine. I then copied KL evalPHP and renamed it "phpAdsNew banner" and pasted the invocation code that's running on the rest of my site. I removed the php opening and closing tags, and also set the path to "/home/sites/www.mysite.net/web/phpAdsNew/phpadsnew.inc.php". I changed the path after the original didn't work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Andrew
