I also have the same error, starting on line 6.

I modify the config file manually, adding the required path, and setting the switch options to 0 for off, and it then works, I am then able to patch the files from admin, however as soon as I click save again the path is wiped out of the config file (though the switches remain in tact) and again I have the same error on line 6

Note, the config file permissions are set to 777 which is unusual for a config file?

Seems no one is responding to this issue with anything positive.

Installed Joomla, converted users from phpbb to smf using conversion tool, integrated into joomla, and all users are in joomla, and phpbb to smf also worked ok, forum content is available and users are all listed.

Install smf integration to Joomla comp, and everything installs without a hithc, however when I come to sync the usernames I get a dead screen like page cannot be found error.

I have over 1500 users, and the host is not fantastic, anyone know why the sync does not work?

ok, I managed to ync the users, however now when I log into Joomla, goto the forum I have to log in again.

This is likely someting common and simple, anyone got a clue thanks.
