Nevermind, found it in the 1.1 forums I think i got it working now

Ok, I got everything working, except when I try to patch:

Failed: ../index.php file or the parent path is not writeable!

I have it set as writable, and the parent path is as well.

Configuration file     (../administrator/components/com_smf/config.smf.php)      is writeable
Joomla cache directory    (../cache)    is writeable
Joomla index file    (../index.php)    is writeable   
Joomla main path    (../cms)    is writeable

I have the other file patched, but index.php will not. I have tried everything, deleting the file and creating a new one with the same code and setting it as writable, but still will not work, even though it says it is writable on the permissions page
