in a site hosted in blue host, i get this error when synchronizing users(synch usernames):


i have a feeling this is host side related, will figure out and confirm installing in localhost so i can have more control with apache config.

however, is anyone else getting this error while doing synch?
can the process of the synch be divided into smaller chunks so that it will not reach the limit?

im synching 1304 users from smf to joomla

versions included:

joomla 1.0.12
JSMF 2.0.1
SMF 1.1.1
CB 1.2

in the component of version 2.x of JSMF can you see the  synchronize user? if do, click it.

back up first of course.

^^this one to remove the invalid arguement.
^^this one though not a FIX. but just a "temporary workaround" to avoid the error message while dev are still working on it. as wolv mentioned its not advisable since the risk is there hence there cant trigger if the user has been successfully synched to smf or not.

i agree,.. was currently a work around for me (while waiting for the RC3). on the site i am working on; usernames are not editable both in cb and smf.

had sent you pm, regarding the rc3 to be tested

i tried commenting(php comment) on line 327 and 328 of the file:
\components\com_comprofiler\plugin\user\plug_smfcbplugin\smf_cb.php

obviously the popup will not appear(hence this is the lines which calls when error occurs).. however it saves in CB fields the changes/updates made.

PS: this is just a quickie to bypass the error. not a total solution.

i have reproduced this problem as mentioned above in my testing:

this occurs when a user updates his/her profile from the "Update Your Profile" of the CB.
