1  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: It's here.... SMF 1.1 FINAL on: December 03, 2006, 11:55:45 AM
As I said in the other thread, if you are running a live site I would wait until the testing team has had time to test SMF 1.1 with JSMF.  Or install it on a test site first to verify it works.  I am not approving it by the previous statement, simply saying everything seems ok at this point.
I'll wait then until I hear word that everything is fine. Smiley

I have been testing today and everything seems ok(besides the already reported bugs with JSMF 2.0RC3).
So does this mean we can go ahead and download 1.1 Final and upgrade according to their instructions or should we wait to see if anything breaks?

Thanks! Smiley
3  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Community Builder 1.0.2 Is Out on: November 24, 2006, 05:22:56 PM
Just got an email that makes this sound like a serious 'need-to-do- upgrade. Is there anything special that needs to be done regarding the Bridge(s)? Smiley

Thanks!

Scratch that - found 'em!

Everything seems to be working just fine now. Smiley

Thanks! Grin

all you need to do is install the 'other' cb plugins and a direct link to smf profile is in the profile tab.
Are you talking about cb_plugin_smf_2_0_1.zip? If so, that was the 2nd thing I installed according to the pdf and I made sure it was published. Undecided

depends if you have cb installed, and if profile redirection is enabled. if not, users can access their profiles they normally do by clicking on the "Profile" link on top of the smf forums main page.
OK - I see it's an 'all or nothing' deal... Are there any plans to allow if a person clicks the user link that it goes to CB but if the user themselves click the 'Profile' button it goes into their forum setup?

OK - everything looks and runs great except how does a person get into the forum options to change their settings? Grin

Perfect! Grin

That seemed to be the ticket. Cool

Thank you!

post the url from index.php?  or component/ so I can see the end of it.  The one that is failing.
Not sure of what you're asking. Huh My site is http://www.themiditrombone.com if that would help.

which registration method do you have selected in JSMF config?
Currently set to CB. Smiley I tried CBE as well but it did the same thing.

Howdy!

Great Component! Only took about 5 minutes to install and all the major things are working. Just ran into one problem. When a user tried to Register from SMF, they get:

You are not authorized to view this resource.
You need to login.

When they try and register from the CB Module, it works fine. Logging in thru SMF works fine as well, it's just when they try and register from the forum.

I probably just missed a tick somewhere but don't know where to start looking. Any points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! Grin
