1  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / mod_smf_whosonline_2_0 and FlashChat (Integrated to SMF) on: October 08, 2006, 01:59:53 PM
Hello, I have:

Joomla version : 1.0.11 (Spanish)
FlashChat 4.7.3 integrated to SMF
SMF version is: 1.1 RC3
Joomla-SMF version: 2.0 RC1

First I tried to integrate FlashChat with Joomla, but with this way I can’t
link the “profile” in FlashChat to SMF profile (forum wrapped).
When login only in to FlashChat clicking in Live Mambo Chat button,
who is online module first show me logged into Joomla and FlashChat
but not appear logged into bridge, after visit a forum and come back to main
page where the who’s online modules is, only appear logged into FlashChat.
this is only a little confusion thing.

Now I decide integrate FlashChat to SMF, and is so easy link “profile” button
to profile in SMF wrapped, but who’s online module for flashchatters
don’t work using this way.

I read the following post, but is a little old, and the code in 2.0 module appear
little different now.

http://www.joomlahacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,94/topic,1817.0

What I have to do to fix this problem?

Is possible, in future upgrades of the module, to add better FlashChat options?,
Like option to work with Joomla integration and SMF integration, or option to don’t
show Live Mambo Chatter button, or unlink the button, or option to put a text title for
flashchatters section instead of button, also modify the space between last Joomla
logged and live mambo button.

Thank you very much for help me!!!!!!
2  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: JSMF 2.0 RC1 released on: October 08, 2006, 01:44:34 PM
it could be a definition that SMF is making that is causing this.  The section in the joomla index that defines the headers does not get called when SMF has already sent the headers.  Do you know if you charset is the same for both SMF and Joomla?

Thanks for the asnwer, is very diffcult tho change charset once all is intalled, I tried but don't change anything, the problem was solved reinstalling SMF forum and Uncheck UTF-8 box during the process, and now, almost everything appear to be ok.
