18  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Corrupted Attachments on: April 28, 2008, 03:29:41 AM
Like I said it could be the a php version problem. You can try to lower your PHP version by adding the next line to your .htaccess:

Code:
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php51 .php

Please let me know if it works.

For the login module you need version 2.0.4 and for recent topics you need version 2.0.2.

24  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 1.0.x / Re: Synchronise verify error on: April 24, 2008, 06:07:43 AM
You say, you have mysql 4.1.11. Then your version is newer than 4.1.2. So there is no problem to follow the howto.

BTW if your server is mysql 4.1.1 and lower (older), you couldn't have utf8 tables in  the first place.

Please let us know if it works out.

Like it said, there is a mix of collations. You can convert joomla 1.0.x to UTF8. I hope you are helped with this link: http://help.joomla.org/component/option,com_easyfaq/task,view/id,94/Itemid,268/

Make sure that the index.php is writable before patching. For security give the file it's normal permissions afterwards.
27  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Help Request: on: April 21, 2008, 03:33:41 AM
Christi,

You need JSMF 2.0.2.1 to get SMF working with Joomla 1.0.15. See my signature for the download. Good luck.
28  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Hide the "Forum" Link in the Mainmenue on: April 21, 2008, 02:24:09 AM
I am using the JSMF login module and the link to the forum in the registered access menu. No problem at all.
29  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 1.1.x / Re: 1.0.15 upgrade and subsequent problems... on: April 17, 2008, 02:08:17 AM
Hi Ron,

The best you can do is restore your backup from before the upgrade. After that replace smf.class.php in the folder com_smf with the one in the package 2.0.2.1. That should do it.

Good luck
30  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Can't delete users from CB, smf cb plugin problem? on: April 15, 2008, 06:05:37 AM
I am not using CB... Maybe I can give you a push in the right direction. A blank screen usually means a fatal PHP error. Check out your servers error log and/or post the line involved over here.
