Thanks for the reply but I haven't had any respose from the guys over there so I was wondering if anyone over here might have known

I have just installed Joomla and SMF which all went fine, the first thing I have now tried to do is edit the 'Welcome to Joomla' content on the main page.  The problem is when I click on this item to edit it the pages loads but with the following error listed in the status bar:

Any help on how to resolve this error would be great

I am using Joomla 1.0.11 and SMF 1.0.8, when I come to everything has installed okay but what I come to Patch SMF Source Files I get the following error

Failed: Code to be patched not found in file: if (!defined(\'WIRELESS\'))/home/raylfz6/public_html/forums/index.php

I'm not sure if this is because I dont have a themes/default/xml_topic.js file (wasn't one in the zip I downloaded)

Any help would be great
