I'm not sure if this will give you any help, but if you want to, go to www.fantasymarchingband.com and log in with the username Testing and password Peepee

Like I said sometimes it works fine, and others it does this other stuff, with my luck when you try it will be fine.

To any of you guys above you said you have the same problem: do you also have this problem (from my other thread):

When you login on the Mambo side, it sometimes (not always) prompts you to please enter the username and password fields (which you already have done), then when you click OK, it logs you into Mambo but not SMF?  This is where all the trouble that the other people were describing happens for me (with the redirection weirdness and stuff).

I have exactly the same problem as Edward, in every way.  Just curious Edward, when you go the component configuration screen for Mambo SMF, do you get a bunch of errors on the right side of the screen?

I forgot to mention...when I go into the Component Configuration, I get these errors across the right side of the screen:

Everything works perfectly except for one thing: sometimes (and when I say sometimes, i mean it seems to be completely random, tested in IE and FireFox) after I click the login button, it prompts "Please complete the username and password fields."  After I click "ok", its logs me into Mambo, but not SMF.  Other times it works perfectly.

I have the same problem kinda.  When I log in from Mambo, it logs me into just mambo.  When I log in from SMF, it logs me into both (same with my users).  The install was fine, and it worked the first time and only the first time i logged in.  Interestingly, my first login will never go away, it keeps saying there are two Super Admins logged in.
8  Joomla Hacks / Mambo-SMF 1.3.x / New Login Bug on: May 03, 2005, 06:08:46 PM
I'm not sure if this has been directly addressed yet, or if anyone else has encountered it but...
When I try to login using the SMF Mambo login module, it prompts me to "please fill in the username and password fields", which I already did.  After this happens, the User Menu appears as if I have logged into Mambo, but the SMF menu does not appear, and it still says "Welcome Guest" on both the SMF Mambo login module and the Forum itself.  This continues after I try it again.  However, I CAN log in from the Forum login box, and everything works correctly.
So basically, when trying to Login from the SMF Mambo module, it logs me into Mambo but not the Forum, but it works both ways if I login from the Forum itself (which is obviously less convenient and more confusing to my users).  Any help or other people with similar problems?

10  Joomla Hacks / Mambo-SMF 1.3.x / Login Module Problems on: May 02, 2005, 05:23:30 PM
I downloaded Mambo-SMF Forum v.1.3.0-stable and the new Login Module.  I installed everything as per the instructions.  The log in module, however, gives me the following errors:
Warning: main(/SSI.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fantasym/public_html/modules/mod_smf_login.php on line 26

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/SSI.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/fantasym/public_html/modules/mod_smf_login.php on line 26

Not sure what is causing this, any help would be appreciated.
