The mod seemed to install without any problems.  I can't login to my SMF to check anything, however.

Thanks for your reply!

It copied 195 of my total 220 Mambo users.  It seems as though there is something else wrong because I cannot login to Mambo OR SMF after install.

Steps up to this point:

Mambo 4.5.2.1 with 220 users
Installed fresh SMF 1.0.3 on top of my mambo db
Installed the package into SMF
Installed the SMF Component
Installed the functions.smf patch
Patched mambo index.php file
Sync'd 195 users to SMF (I clicked sync several times)

I looked at my smf_members for a user that did get copied

When I try to login as one of these users I am redirected to SMF unwrapped and told to login

I try to login directly to SMF but am told bad username/password

When i hit the <Back button in IE I am taken back to the mambo frontpage and AM logged in

When i click "forums" I am again taken to SMF unwrapped and asked login - upon which I'm told the same username/password

Were you able to resolve this issue somehow?  I'm having the same problem.
5  Joomla Hacks / Mambo-SMF 1.3.x / Error on last step of install: You are logged to Mambo but not in SMF on: May 03, 2005, 10:51:40 AM
Warning: You are logged to Mambo but not in SMF. Cannot load user to SMF.

I get this when "syncing".

Mambo 4.5.2.1
Fresh install of SMF 1.0.3

The sync does about half of my users then stops with this message.

If I try to login to Mambo it shuttles me to SMF (unwrapped even though I chose wrapped) and asks me to login.  I enter my username/pass and it says invalid.  The user I'm trying to login with is one of the users that synced over (I checked smf_members).

I am using LDAP for authentication (which may not be relevant, but is somewhat non-standard).
