1  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 1.1.x / Re: Bug: Cannot redeclare db_query on: April 04, 2006, 07:53:34 PM
Right guys... I got mine working, but I did it by reverting to the RC2 (plus fixes) version of the bridge.

I didn't change ANYTHING else, so tell me... what code changed between RC2+fixes and 1.1.01 to cause this issue?

Well...my copy of that file looks nothing like the one being talked about here (based on line numbers) and editing it to remove or change any references to including subs.php didn't fix the issue for me.

Right now, I'm going back to an earlier version of the bridge, which didn't contain this issue.

I have exactly the same problem, again both directory and file are set to writable

Check the known problems for login/logout blank screen issues.  Essentially we found this to be another problem all together(if I recall correctly)
...but which file do we need to edit?

Thanks for the very quick reply!  The code change didn't have any effect; neither did commenting the line out altogether.  However, just for fun I commented out line 980, and everything works like a charm now:

Code:
        include_once( $mosConfig_absolute_path.'/administrator/components/com_smf/config.smf.php' );
        //include_once( $smf_path.'/Sources/Subs.php' ); COMMENTED OUT!

I don't know what to make of this yet.  I have to work on a few other things tonight.  But I wanted to thank you for your speedy assistance and let you know as soon as possible what I found...
Which file is it we need to edit?

I'm also getting the login error, in the format http://www.sendosmartphones.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,94/action,login2/hash_passwrd,0/user,/passwrd,/cookielength,-1/

Any chance I could be told the fix as well?
7  Joomla Hacks / Mambo-SMF 1.3.x / Problem with login module 1.3a on: May 03, 2005, 08:49:25 AM
I am having a problem with the login module when running Mambo-SMF 1.3. I've done the component and SMF package installs without any problems, and everything is patched / configured and working as far as the integration goes. However, the Login Module shows all manner of errors on any page other than the forum's page, on which it works perfectly.

Some of the errors I get are listed below...

Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in D:\Site\forums\Sources\Subs.php on line 232

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in D:\Site\forums\Sources\Load.php on line 40

Warning: mysql_free_result(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in D:\Site\forums\Sources\Load.php on line 42
8  Joomla Hacks / Mambo-SMF 1.3.x / Two bugs in 1.30 installation on: April 26, 2005, 07:17:18 AM
I've hit three problems in installing the 1.30 beta version.

First, SMF won't install the mod correctly, it fails on patching the sources/profile.php file (or at least it thinks it fails) - however, the file actually does get patched correctly.

Second, when I try to go to the forums from Mambo, I get "Constant WIRELESS already defined in <path to SMF>\index.php on line 78"

EDIT: Having just un-installed and re-installed SMF completely (using the same database) everything now works - it seems it was upgrading that it didn't like...
