Try a search , there is an upgrade guide. (Isn't there also a readme file in the download package )

I just installed the new release and realised no bugs:
joomla 1.0.12
CB 1.02
JSMF 2.0 (including all cb plugins)

EDIT:
Avatar sync with the smf-cb profile plugin doesn't work.There is problem with the url:
http://www.mysite.com/dir/comprofiler/tngallery/butterfly.gif (SMF Url)
http://www.mysite.com/dir/comprofiler/gallery/butterfly.gif (CB Url)

Maybe there was a different directory in the older cb version?

Yeah I use JSMF Login and I don't see the avatar in smf. But you can try it on your own, your account still exists. www.corfu.at

You are totaly right(with both).

I installed the new version and it works really great!

What I like:
-No error messages or bugs Great work!
-more configuration possibilities
-sync works good

What I don't like (small things..):
-In the 1.1.4.2 version the regsiter and the lost pw link used the template style now it changed to simple links.
-when I ckick on upload avatar it redirects me to cb profile-ok. I upload a file and I can see it in the cb profile but not in the login module.
-I don't really what to do with the smf.plugin file...
-there is still no possibilty to open the Forum link in a new window (unwrapped)

I trust you and will try it .
If you need someone to help with the german translation I am sure that I can manage it in a short period of time (greek is a bit more difficult becaus of the keyboard..).

Hey wolverine great work again! I did not install it already but i will soon.
I could do some translation work (german, and maybe greek...).
One question, how stable is the version? because at the moment I have not test machine and my community is growing... 

At first I would upgrade your joomla version to 1.0.11!

• You need the Joomla-SMF component(latest version avalable in the download section of joomlahacks.com)
• You need the Joomla-SMF Login Module(latest version avalable in the download section of joomlahacks.com)
  

And you need some time to read the readme files and configure everything.

Can't you access the configuration or did you configured something that caused the parse error?

That should be no problem...What registration module do you use smf,cb,cbe..?
Have a look into the known problems and solutions thread, one of the first topics deals with this problem.

I think you should tell us something about your joomla and smf version...
Did you keep the original prefixes _jom _smf? Did you have a look to the known problems and solution thread?

In the last days I experienced a small bug() in jsmf. What happens is that a user has the jsmf menu items(like recent topics and so on) but does not have  the normal user menu (both are only shown to registered members, or at least should only be displayed to registered ones).
I think that this happens when the "remember me" check box is not checked, the user leaves the page, returns later and then the menu items are not visible to him but the jsmf links are.
I'm not sure, it's just an idea...
