1  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Bridge not working with CB on: April 24, 2007, 11:08:31 PM
your user guide doesn't help because the bridge and the cb plugin produce plenty of errors.

3  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: CB Login , Registration not working ... on: April 12, 2007, 10:35:59 PM
have you checked the JSMF user guide?  Doesn't sound like you installed the cb plugin

the cb smf plugin is only producing errors, the problem is not solved.

After the plugin installation we got:

when clicking the registration link:
Code:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 46080 bytes) in /home/spicule/public_html/modules/mod_mainmenu.php on line 89

For existing users, when they try to login (cblogin) the popup 'wrong password' shows, but they get logged anyway.

And the user are still not synced (cb smf)

thanks
Javier

5  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Re: Synchronizing Performance between CMS, CB and SMF on: April 12, 2007, 09:23:29 PM
I have the same problem.

Visitors can register using the cb registration module but when they login they are not logged in the smf part.

and if the user tries to login in the smf part, they simply cant (password incorrect)

thanks

I am having the exact problem.
I am using:
smf 1.1.2
bridge 2.0.2
cb plugin 2.0.3

I am doing everything, I am not a total newbie on this and have setup many smf forums with bridges in the past, but this time, users never gets sync.

only admin user got sync.

any ideas?

oh, btw, I am running without patching the joomla-index because it is showing errors like 'memory error...'

Please advice.

thanks

Warning to new users!
Since all of the titles and browser urls dont worked as before installing this bridge, I've decided to uninstall this bridge.

I have properly reverse the process:
- unpatched the patched files,
- unistalled the bridge.

But the site is now screwed up! - No titles, No urls and even if you choose to make it SEF 'on' in the joomla config, the site just dissapear!

Do you think phpbb integration will allow us to have those titles work as normal?

thanks

12  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 1.1.x / joomla dynamic titles and browser urls NOT SHOWING. on: August 18, 2006, 02:46:38 PM
Hello,

(I have searched the forum for the solution but only found a solution that doesn't work here: http://www.joomlahacks.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,94/topic,918.0
)

So here is the issue:

joomla 1.0.10
smf 1.1
joomla-smf 1.1.x

The dynamic titles of the entire site and the forum too, are not showing.

The url in the browser field also doesn't change.

I think is the patched index.php (joomla part) that is causing this.

Anyone have the solution?

thanks,
Jav
