I've got SMF 1.1RC3, JSMF 2.0.RC1, newest Joomla and Community Builder, Brat's plugin, and everything's working great accept for when I try to delete a user from the Community Builder user administration screen.
This is the error I get: Warning: main(/QueryString.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/jester/public_html/smf/SSI.php on line 55
Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/QueryString.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/jester/public_html/smf/SSI.php on line 55
Not a practice I do often but it came up today and thought I'd toss this out see if there's a quick fix.
Actually if you do a search, Brat has alrady created that plugin for CB. It works quite nicely you can see it in action on my site if you are interested.
If you do a search on this forum for CB Plugin you'll find posts by Brat. He's created a series of plugins to integrate the forum profile and collect all posts made by a user and display them in their profile on a seperate tab.
The best part about that post display is it actually takes into account your permissions levels and only shows you the posts that you have permission to see. Its very well done.
I just went ahead and did the upgrade from 10 to 11 and everything seems to be working perfectly. I of course had to repatch the index.php but that was all that needed to be done.
If your interested in seeing for yourself the site I upgraded is www.w00tradio.net
Brat I've just set it up on the w00tradio.net site and its working fine.
I've found a couple little things that bug me..
1) The modify forum profile link is showing to everyone, now granted it won't let someone actually modify it but its going to raise questions from the users.
2) When telling the profile to update your avatar to match the CB avatar it doesn't give any 'update' as to weather or not it worked.
Actually, it looks like a series of plugins I did.
Just released them at Joomlapolis (home of Community Builder) - kinda shocked to see them (or something so similar, don't know if this is mine for sure) pop up so suddenly.
I've actually turned the core files over to the Joomlahacks Team for further development and improvement. I've also done some tweaks to make them work better with SMF installations that are on separate databases.
I'm now retesting these code changes and getting ready to re-post the package. Wolverine, if you want this revised code, please let me know and I'll resend. Thanks!
So I had a need for something more powerful than Joomlaboard and found Simplemachines. I went looking to integrate it, tried both versions and the integration already started with Community Builder put this bridge over the top for me!
I just can't wait for Avatars and Signatures to get integrated in.
