Doing the moving the forum item down in the main menu did the trick.

I'm very inexperienced with Mambo, just got a site up and running at:
http://www.kootenaygreen.ca

I was able to get the mambo-smf integration done but the forum comes up on the main page. I wanted to have a menu link to the forum instead. How would I do this ??
