1  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 2.0.x / Install error Failed: Code to be patched not found in file: require_once( 'inclu on: July 13, 2008, 05:57:19 PM
Hi,
I'm getting the following install error:

Message

        * Failed: Code to be patched not found in file: require_once( 'includes/frontend.php' );/var/www/users/mysite/public_html/joomla/index.php

When I try to patch joomla's files. All the permissions are OK, it seems it doesn't found the code to patch.

I'm using Joomla 1.5.4, SMF 1.1.5 and CB 1.2RC2
I have SMF in public_html
and Joomla in public_html/joomla

Is there any solution to this problem?. Can anyone tell me the code I have to change in order to make it work!.

Last but not least, I found this component today and I just coulnd't believe it!. I was about to move all my forum to phpbb3 because I coulnd't found a decent bridge.

Best regards,
Carla

Any ideas? I searched for this error and I couldn't find anything.

3  Joomla Addon Discussion / Joomla Modules / SMF latest posts problem after upgrade to 1.0.4 joomla on: November 22, 2005, 12:22:26 AM
Hi,
I just upgraded to Joomla 1.0.4 and I repatched the smf module.
But the latest smf posts are not displayed anymore.
It says error connection to databse and it displays instead of the posts the forum page with the error.
Any ideas? I have to go back to 1.0.3?
best regards,
Carla

Hi,
I'm always logged in throught mydomain.com, not WWW.mydomain.com.
I set the forum to acidobase.com.ar/foros now.
I'm thinking in reinstalling joomla and SMF all again from scratch, because I'm not able to correct this error. I only have to save configuration.php and the database right?.
best regards,
Carla

Hi,
yes I installed all in the same database. The forum has to be on the same domain to get this to work? I'm going to move the forums to the same domain to see what happens. Anyway any ideas about the admin login problem? I think it's related because it appeared when I installed SMF.
best regards,
Carla
6  Joomla Hacks / Joomla-SMF 1.0.x / Login Problem / Bridge 1.0.1b/SMF RC1 1.1 / Joomla 1.0.3 on: October 17, 2005, 06:57:55 PM
I have installed the SMF RC1 1.1, Joomla 1.0.3 and the Joomla-SMF forum 1.0.1b.
My forum is at http://foros.acidobase.com.ar
and Joomla is at http://acidobase.com.ar

I have encountered the following problems:
1-As a mambo admin I have to log in everytime I want to do something like save. It's driving me nuts. It's like it doesn't recognize me anymore.

I try to login from the mambo-smf or the mambo module and it doesn't work.
(having selected mambo in the bridge), I register from the mambo module and the registration proccess works.
I enter in smf directly (not passing by mambo) and it works.
I also can register users from the mambo-smf module and it appears to work, but it doesn't show the users in the smf table.
Right now I have the Joomla and SMF integrated but I'm not using it because as far as I went in my server didn't work.

Always registration module to use: Mambo, Unwrapped. No redirect to forum in login.
Any ideas? I've already uninstalled everything (smf related and reinstalled again). I'm doing something wrong? This is a cookie problem?.
Best regards,
Carla
