Hi. installed mambo and smf, both seem good. Went to install the bridge and everything went ok as far as I can tell. Went to the homepage and no forum option in the menu. Been bashing my head against it and can't find any problems like this listed on the net. Any help is much apreciated

Hi. Not sure if this is the right place to post this so sorry if not. I've just installed joomla 1.5.3 and when I attempted to install fireboard I keep getting an internal server error. Is this a simple code edit somewhere that I've not done? Any help is apreciated 

Hi again. I followed the instructions in the link and on checking the mysql version it reads 4.1.11. In the instructions it states.. use MySQL version 4.1.2 or newer (older versions don't support utf-8).
Is there any other way around the problem?  Thanks

I'm new to this so it's probably somthing blindingly obvious that I've not seen
