To add the embed tag just use a text editor, or edit directly from the templates menu on the joomla administration.

About firefox - I belive that version 1.5 doesn't use the embed tag (correct if i'm wrong).

Can anyone figure this one out:

Some days ago I tryed to validate my page. Wrote the domain name and I got a 404 on the validation service. http://validator.w3.org/. I asked some friends on remote locations if the site was online and the said it was.

Today I went on digg to post a new article and I got an Invalid link error (check your url, etc,etc).

The site is online though. Got any ideas?

What I would like to see is the comment link posted automaticaly on every news item

We serve game news, walktroughs, reviews, etc.
Using the dnsPlazma Layout after modification so everything can go in. Basically redone the flash part and inserted the codes for the right blocks. It messes up somehow with the width, it shouldn't sidescrol for resolutions bigger that 800x600. If someone has any idea for fixing this or wants to take a look at the code either to see what can be done or to use it at their own site, don't hesitate to ask.

anyone knows of a component that allows to make submissions trough mail?

we are currently adding up games walktroughs, the thing is that most walktroughs have more that 250kb and some get to +900kb. I'm afraid this will overload the database. What i wanted to do is to find a hack/component/whatever that allocates the tables for some expecific sections on a separate database.
Can it be done?

I need someone to help me with this one.
Sometimes when I try to unnistall components (in my se Galleria and dbquery), Joomla gives me an error. The component is "removed" from the site menus and administration but the files aren't deleted. When I ftp and try to delete I get a permission denied error. I think that, and correct me if i'm  wrong, this happens because when someone installs a component trough joomla the creator and owner of the folder is a php file (on linux servers). Is there a way around this and delete the unnecesary files?

I would like to see a feature that would copy the mainpage articles to a specific forum so users could discuss them on the forum. It would also be nice to see a comment link on each article that would point to the forum post.
