I'd just ınstalled com_joomla_smf_1_1_4.zip to joomla 1010
I am usıng SMF 1.1RC2
 and SEO ıs off
everythıng went well. I dıd all the patches.
but when I go to maın sıte www.nurdan.net I get thıs error messsage
I can log ın to joomla admın sıte but maın page gıves error
can someone help me out???

 I did patch my smf forum component the way you explained
everything was smooth and no problems

I'd had problem uploading with FTP
so I'd uploaded patch files with MAMBOXPLORER

mamboxplorer is a life saver !!!!!!!!

I have a web site ( www.joomlaturk.com ) with joomla 1.03 and SMF 1.1 RC1.
what is the best way to upgrade???
should I uninstall the old bridge and install the new one
or should I upgrade with upgrade file!!!!!!!!!

 I do not want to screw up my site !!
if you have a step by step upgrade info, that helps out a lot

If you wanna see clean joomla and smf integration
go to this site...  www.bolivia.uni.cc and click SMF FORUM link...
it took me for a while to figure out clean integration
you might  need to turn off SEF from joomla admin site
I think step by step joomla and smf entegration tutorial
is not good enough. I will try to explain important steps soon
