Title: Locked out of admin backend
Post by: Cctoide on August 12, 2005, 08:11:50 AM
I had a Mambo site running normally.

I installed SMF to the same database as Mambo since I wanted to use the Mambo-SMF bridge.

I followed instructions. It installed. However, I logged out and when I noticed that the link on the main menu was bad, I went to the admin login to correct it... and couldn't log in, even though I was inputting the correct username and password. For some reason, I am now locked out of the Mambo admin backend. No matter what password is defined in mos_users, I can't login. I get a dialog box with the "incorrect username/password/access level" error. I can login fine through the frontend, but the backend is no go.

I'm going to start kicking stuff. Can anyone help?

You probably used a different "admin" password in SMF. Please try that password.
