Title: Editing the footer Post by: brandon on July 27, 2005, 04:13:30 AM So I know I can edit the footer in Mambo, because I've done it before (to include mention of my site's webhost).
Problem, I made a typo and now, for the life of me, can't remember which file the actual footer information is contained in. I'm so embarassed. LOL If anything, this is a good lesson to make notes of what I do when I start "hacking away" at things. Anyways, if anyone can point me to the right file so I can edit it and Mambo can present my pages with a typo free footer, I'd appreciate it. :) And, in related news... does anyone know of any type of app (or module or component) that might help me in the future with such things. Let's say... I know what text is output by Mambo on my screen, but I can't remember WHERE in the world it is? Maybe some type of program that can sniff around the PHP to tell me which file to go edit. Thanks :) Title: Re: Editing the footer Post by: Editor (cowboy) on July 27, 2005, 11:45:18 AM That would be in /includes/footer.php.
And the text is in version.php. Tip: You can also make use of a footer module. This needs editing of your template. Title: Re: Editing the footer Post by: brandon on July 27, 2005, 09:10:41 PM Thanks for both tips :)
It's all fixed now and I'll look into the module. Title: Re: Editing the footer Post by: kai920 on October 26, 2005, 05:40:57 AM While on the subject of footers, I have a question about the footer of SMF. How do you change
