Title: The future of Joomla and SMF
Post by: locutus on August 19, 2008, 02:50:19 AM
Hi all,

Since Wolverine and Livebox left Joomlahacks for support, I am doing my best to support/help JSMF users. In time I noticed that the website of Joomlahacks.com was more and more down and frequently very very slow. I fear that Joomlahacks.com could be gone very soon. There was a more or less mirror of this site: Joomlabridges.nl. Too bad, this site of Superdaantje (Livebox) is now mainly focused on Mambo and SMF instead of Joomla.

In the mean time I have created a site for all your (JSMF) questions over here: http://locutusweb.asw15.org/index.php?board=3.0
There is an extensive faq and also the links to the latest downloads could be found.

I will try to help JSMF users as much as I can till there is a stable successor of JSMF, eg a bridge running Joomla 1.5.x and SMF 2.0.x.

Hope to see you at: http://locutusweb.asw15.org/index.php?board=3.0

@ locutus please contact me by PM ;-)

Then you can use the Joomlabridge.org the old site is still intact. Only the registration and login where disabled. I will enable this.

I can make you Admin on the SMF board and manager on the Joomla site.

The original support site can be found on http://Joomlabridge.org.  It will redirect you to http://cms-bridges.superdaantje.nl

Just let me know.

Kind regards,
Daan
aka Livebox

Edit: The Download sections seems to work again :-)
Fixed the broken links in the menu. Login and registration are working again.

Edit2: seems that every thing is fixed (the site is back in business

I will update everything Asap ;-)
