When asking for support you also have to mention the version numbers of the software you use.

Also an small notice: the Bridge is not supported any more by the Developers. ;)
So do not expect updates or bug fixes.

the version is smf 114 y joomla 115 pleas eif you know any other good forum software please tell me or help me please in this one i really need it ty man

Sorry I also left the JH team a while ago and Joined the Mambo Team. Somthimes I answer some qeustions when I'm arround. But I do not have the time for Support on JH ;)

Other options:
You can migrate Joomla! to Mambo ;D

or you can migrate form SMF to PHPbb

But what version of JSMF do you use? In the most recent one there is no file called config.smf.php...

i have a doub if i use the smf version 114 i need the same version of the bridge right? or i can you the last version of the bridge no matter what version of the smf i use? if i install latest version of the forum the latest version of the bridge work??? i dont undertand why this happend the 2 better softwares in this busssnise are no compatible any one can negotiate with smf and joomla??

i really need this thing working man, this is a project is supose to be done and the client wants smf and joomla no mambo and joomla or joomla and phpbb please help me

There were two Joomla bridges; one of simplemachines and the one of Joomlahacks (JSMF). I think you are using right now the one of simplemachines.

Version numbers in both products are not related to the version of SMF or Joomla. Also both products are not developed any futher. The bridge of simplemachines is only compatible with joomla 1.0.12 or lower. The bridge of Joomlahacks is still compatible with Joomla 1.0.x, but you need version 2.0.2.1 for Joomla 1.0.13 and newer.
