Title: Joomla homepage help needed
Post by: bobbycg on December 19, 2007, 02:35:02 PM
I have a homepage for my bf2 clan www.mlaclan.com but I have a problem. I cannot seem to get more then 3 content items on the homepage at once. and it goes one full length atthe top and the bottom 2 are beside each other. Is there any way to get them all going full lenth down the page instead of beside each other and only showing 3?

Hey,

I am not 100 percent sure what you are trying to do.
But, I will say that placement of your content items all depends on the template you use.

For example if your template only has 3 module spots on your front page, you will only be able to put three modules there. Now what you could do if you want to for example display from an events category or a news category, you can make a module that displays "Previews" of the article and put that module there, then it will for example display your upcoming events.

Do you have a link to where you got your template, or did you make it yourself? If you have a link I may be able to look at it a bit more and see if what you want is possible.

Also can you please clarify what you want, it almost sounds to me like you would like 3 columns of content. If you would give an example of what you would like to do that may help.
