Title: Login problem..super urgent Post by: pravin on May 04, 2007, 02:36:51 AM Firstly, i really want to get rid of the whole SMF system..that's why i have installed Fireboard and want the system to work with that but turns up that i am facing problems:
There was a joomla-smf bridge installed before but what's happening right now is that the bridge component has disappeared from the component menu(so i cannot even delete it) but the com_smf folder still exist in administrator/components and /components The whole thing comes up to that i have changed to fireboard now and when i login it takes me to option=com_smf&action=login2&hash_passwrd=0&user=admin&passwrd=****&cookielength=-1 And when i delete the com_smf folders the main site shows me some kind of an error. I am really confused and want the login thing working.. Can someone please tell me what to do? Thanks Title: Re: Login problem..super urgent Post by: JRW on May 04, 2007, 02:40:30 AM When you uninstalled, did you do it through the Joomla-SMF forum (install) in your component menu, or did you just go to installers - components and delete it there?
My guess is that the files are not unpatched. I would probably reinstall the component, and then unpatch the files properly if you can. Title: Re: Login problem..super urgent Post by: -Wolverine on May 04, 2007, 11:58:37 PM joomlahacks 1.0.2 didn't unpatch, JSMF 2.0 does unpatch. Just use FTP to delete the directories
components/com_smf administrator/components/com_smf
