1 Joomla 1.0.12 2 SMF 1.1 3 Joomla-SMF Component 2.0 Final read the jsmf_user guide 2.0 this is the third forum i came to. i was last redirected on simplemachines forum. The whole installation process went super but now i'm stuck Everything to the install of the component went ok. look here at the image, it is in dutch but English is the same order of things to do i suppose; (http://www.dunetune.nl/foto/patchprobleem.jpg) bigger image here: http://www.dunetune.nl/foto/patchprobleem.jpg (http://www.dunetune.nl/foto/patchprobleem.jpg) The problem is patching the joomla source files. When i do that i get the following error: Failed: Needed code for patching has not been found in file: header( \'Expires/home/dunetune/domains/dunetune.nl/public_html/index.php The code of index.php: i removed cause it was a big message ;) Title: Re: [SMF bridge] install problem with patching joomla source files Post by: -Wolverine on February 06, 2007, 03:56:12 PM did you try the prepatched Joomla index?
Title: Re: [SMF bridge] install problem with patching joomla source files Post by: peter on February 06, 2007, 05:18:36 PM Hi Wolverine,
I was already hoping my favorite x-man character would come to my help. ;D no not yet, i was hoping that wasn't nessecary. ok i've done a backup. I have to put this index.php in the root of my joomla folder right? well here we go Update: Man you are too f*cking unbelievable!!! It works!! well it seems too work anyway. Thx well a slight problem is there. Ik see weird characters when i use e" it has to do with utf-8 but i did'nt find the solution yet. Title: Re: [SMF bridge] install problem with patching joomla source files Post by: peter on February 07, 2007, 12:01:15 PM Well since i changed the index.php my extensions don't show their results on the frontpage anymore.
akocomment send me emails that someone posted a message but it doesn't show on the frontpage or in the articles i mean. votes, which is part of joomla, don't show eather. bsq sitestats doesn't show any visitors anymore. it seems like there is a connection missing. does somebody know what is going on? edit: hmm seems i was too quick drawing conclusions. it apperently takes about 10 minutes before anything is posted. is this normal with joomla? well the bsq sitestats don't work anymore. that is only one thing solved:The BSQ code has to be put back into the index.php
