Title: [done] Bridge 2.0 and OpenSef
Post by: Jan Gieselberg on November 05, 2006, 01:45:48 PM
Hi

I just installed the new Version 2.0 of the bridge and OpenSef does not work any more. Ok, search for a solution - nothing. Reading all the postings that many more user have the same problem. In this board, at opensef too an many more.

Sorry, why can't you write "Does not work with opensef this time" before the download starts? I chrashed my site again - all times i make a update from your component. Every fu... update something doesn't work any more.

Should i go back to the old bridge? Should i wait for a quick fix at the next few weeks? should i change to the Orstio? I cant wait so long cause my site will crash at Google.

Quick and dirty hack is welcome to fix this problem.

It is on the roadmap of the 2.0 or 2.1 Bridge. The Dev's are working @ it

@ this moment there is no SMF Bridge official working with Open sef.

Ortio is also still developing and testing his Bridge with Open Sef

In severall topics on this forum you will find the info about Open Sef and the Bridge ;)Also there is a special topic @ the OPen Sef board. Both developers a hard working for the intergration with Open sef

Hi

The Bridge 2.0 RC1 and OpenSef are now working on my site. You can see ist at http://www.joomla-downloads.de . It's no joke.

I think i have found a little workaround. Don't ask me why, but you must assign another template to anything in your mainmenu. Reload the page and opensef ist working fine. I don't have changed any more. Hope this will help other people with the same problem.

Greetings from germany
Jan
