Title: file not writeable!!!!!!!! Post by: finaldestination on July 05, 2006, 07:23:17 PM When i click --->Click to patch<--- (the first one) i get this error
i have changed the file permissions to 777 and then tried but did not work still same error.. Failed: /mnt/w0201/d09/s21/b028244b/www/xyz.com/test/joomla/index.php file or the parent path is not writeable! I am using netfirm both joomla and smf are intalled on the smae database this is the first component i am installing Title: Re: file not writeable!!!!!!!! That's such a long path that can't be right! Jomla itself works? Perhaps you should install another component first to learn how it goes. ... smf is really not the eaysiest ;) and smf must be installed in the directory SMF in the joomla-root: www/xyz.com/test/joomla/smf/index.php !! check your paths and read the installation-manual of the Smf-joomla bridge!
