Title: Joomla-SMF 1.1 Beta2 Update Post by: -Wolverine on February 11, 2006, 01:17:45 PM Well, all you CB fans, I successfully tested the CB plugin I wrote(nothing fancy). So CB integration will be in this release. I am currently finishing up a rewrite of the backend administration. In an effort to help the newbies I am trying to organize the installation and configuration of the bridge. I hope to have 1.1RC1 ready tomorrow. Thanks again to everyone for your input. Without your help it would take 10 times as long to test and fix bugs. So your help is very much appreciated.
Issues with user syncing will be added to the roadmap and will not be included in 1.1. Other items on the roadmap are Joomla 1.1 compatiblity, SMF 1.1 compatibility, and further improvements to the session/authorization functionality. There are still some "forever" issues with SMF(it doesn't want to play fair!). On a side note, Cowboy has informed me that he should be in a position to begin working on the bridge again soon. Thanks for all your hard work and support to all of us. I don't think any of us feel "stuck with you" but we welcome a second set of eyes and hands from Cowboy.
