I re-patched and everything, however it does not work properly. It was working perfectly in Joomla 1.0.2 but now my login module will not log in to the board and carry authentication throughout the site. If I login to the board directly it sort of works but the way I setup my design is really dependant on making the login module work.

that patch is way back from Mambo-SMF releases. Did you actually made some changes on that?

It's fine. Actually the new patch is still the same, I just moved it in a function so it's all grouped.
