need plugin to send automated email to inviduals by birthdate

I need to send automated email (like ecards) out to inviduals on mailing list, by their birthdate, automatically, when their birthdate comes due.

If there is a plugin for this, or a simple solution, I would appreciate any help or advice.

If it's easier to do this with a non-joomla service or app, that would be fine if you ahve any advice.
