Top-Left Website Name
« on: August 08, 2008, 12:42:01 PM »

Hey there.

On my site, http://milesconsultinggroup.com/index.php, it has the company's name on the top left which was programmed in by a Joomla programmer a couple months ago.  I want to replace it with my logo, which I believe is a jpeg.

My first question is, what is that top left placeholder filed under?  I can't find out where it is stored, what it is called.

Second, is it possible to put a jpeg in its place?  Maybe if I can place a banner there?

Thank you very much for any information.

its hard to tell without looking at the main HTML/PHP page. It looks like this is done without a JPG.

I can help if you like, but I would need to know or see the files. Let me know if you like some help and I'll send you an e-mail directly.

This is the image:

Just replace it with an image with the same dimensions and extension.

Okay, so now I know it is a logo.  But I do not know where to edit it so I can replace it with my other logo.

Where in the Control Panel do I go to change the logo?

Thanks.

You can't do that from your administration control panel. You have to FTP to to this file and replace it.

If you want to do it from within your control panel use this component: http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,102/Itemid,35/
