having problems installing

I just installed SMF 1.1.4 and I am using Joomla 1.5. I'm trying to link SMF to my Joomla with the Joomla bridge. I installed the bridge which seemed to automatically create a forum link in my menu. However, when I click the link, I get the message below.

Fatal error: main() [<a href='function.main'>function.main</a>]: The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition &quot;jsmfFrontend&quot; of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in /home/dcope/public_html/components/com_smf/smf.php on line 100

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

The Bridge is not working with J! 1.5
