| OK I have the latest version of joomla installed in the root directory of my site. I have SMF 1.1.4 installed in directory "/petchat" Both the smf and joomla are installed into the same database. (read somewhere to do that) I also added the mod com_smf_2_0_2.zip found on this site. However I do not know how to import my user list from the forum to the main site. Do I need to do something to import the user list? The login form on the joomla part of the site seems to be a little odd. Such as when I login on the joomla site it would When on the joomla site I see the login box. When I login with a forum name I have noticed it is added to the user list of the joomla site. However it does not log my into the forums and apears to not log me int the joomla site as well. I say this about the joomla page because the login box does not go away, it still sits there with a name and password field. Can anyone give me some tips about what is going on? I am sorry to say that I am pretty new to smf and joomla, But I will do my best to follow what you say. Thank you for your time and replies. |
