Can't Hide "Remember Me" or "Lost Password"

Joomla: 1.0.13
SMF: 1.1.4
JSMF: 2.0.2.1
Joomla-SMF Login: 2.0.4

Hi, I'm using the Joomla-SMF bridge and the login module, and in the login module I would like to hide the "Remember Me" and "Lost Password Link" I would very much like to get rid of these. I have selected hide within the module yet they remain. I am curious why this occurs.
