Happy to pay for a solution that works
« on: February 05, 2007, 04:11:46 PM »

Hi,
I'm not new to Joomla but can't seem to find a solution. I'm using v1.0.12
I want to be able to use the wrapper or imbed functionality to include some custom php. On one page I want to capture the user ID from the login session as well as write new session variables (sort preference, show/hide preference etc). When the user goes to another page I want to capture these session variables and use them to control how I display content.
I don't want to create modules/components for my custom php.
Can anyone help? I'll gladly pay for code that works.
Thanks

well, I have received so much for free from this site that if you would make them a donation on my humble behalf I would be glad to offer my help! Cheesy

You will of course have to document in detail EXACTLY what you want to achieve and the timeframe. Prepare any screen shots (draw them in msPaint if you have to) that best illustrates the look you want to get done.)

Do a step by step walk through of how the application should behave as well, noting the differences (if any) between registered/unregistered users, and if settings should be retained or not. I could volunteer then 4 hours of development time (which on first impression seems to be generous as your needs dont seem too complex.)

best regards.
