Mod SMF Recent Topics 2_0 Issue

Well gave up on the SMF shoutbox for now. New bridge works like a charm. Everything is updated date...well I still have Vwar but anyway, I am using the JSMF_2_0_RC2. Everything came packed together. The only issue I am running into is the Recent Topics module is not updating. Just keeps showing the same old topics. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?

I tried uninstalling via the Joomla Module Installation and verified the files did uninstall then reinstalled but no change.
