Noob Question: Logging into Joomla & SMF at the same time-Does it work that way?

Hi Gang,

Please forgive the “noobness” of this question. I am not a programmer so I’m a little out of the loop on trying to figure out what I’ve done wrong...

Configuration
I have been playing with Joomla (v. 1.011) for a couple of days now. I have installed Community Builder 1.08 and it appears to be working well. Yesterday, I installed SMF (v. 1.1RC3) and JSMF (v. 2.0RC1).

I have the following settings for JSMF:
Wrapped Integration Mode: Enable
Synchronize Usernames Only: Disable
Hide email address in SMF profile: Disable
Redirect to Forum on login: Disable
Redirect to Joomla home on logout: Disable
Add Joomla/Mambo Pathway: Enable
Add Joomla/Mambo Dynamic Titles: Enable
Include CSS from SMF Theme: Enable
Add Joomla/Mambo Meta Description: Enable
Add Joomla/Mambo Meta Keywords: Enable
Registration system: CB
Login module: CB

Oh, I also have all Login modules unpublished except “CB Login.”

Problem
I created a new account in Joomla. When I log into that account and click the Forum link. SMF is displayed in Joomla but I am not logged into SMF. I thought it was supposed to log into both at the same time? So, when I log into the forum, it appears to work well. However, when I log out of Joomla, I am not logged out of SMF.

Have I done something wrong? Did I misunderstand how JSMF was supposed to work?

Any and all advice is welcome.
