Hi,

I just installed SMF integrated all data from my old forum (Joomlaboard), all went fine, also I must say your component is really great, it is the reason I came back to SMF.

Only one issue, my forum runs fine unwrapped, but when it's wrapped it runs very slow, sometimes even results in blank page.

Did you take a look @ the User Guide. In this guide you will find some good tips about the JSMF bridge also the blanc pages are covered in it.

I did, and now once more. But all settings are as discribed in the user guide.
I also sometimes get the message "unable to connect to the database, server might be busy" or the standard Joomla "this site is temporarily unavailable".

looks like your hosting provider has some problems. Better to contact them with this question...

I had similar problems yesterday with my site. The problem was my hosting provider Wink

Yep all ready noticed that you are Dutch but this is an international forum so I have to Speak Eng. Tongue

In my signature you will find the link for the Dutch manuals for this Bridge Wink

I will contact my host then, and hope that this resolves my problem.
Have you tried browsing my forum, to see if the problem occurs with you too?
I did have some connection problems earlyer on the day but but as the forum runs fine unwrapped I didn't think it was that.

Sorry but it's in Dutch.
Seems to me anyway that it's nothing to do with that, since the forum runs perfectly when it's unwrapped. The moment you browse the wrapped forum a while it gets stuck, crazy thing is that at that moment the unwrapped forum still runs fine, and my other Joomla installation (testsite) on the same server is blocked too!

The problem can be the user limit of your hoster. looks like there are to many connections to the database. Joomla! and SMF are using separate database connection. And in wrapped mode you are opening both so they are both setting up there own connections.
