Hello all,
     First post so sorry if im a bit off, Wanted to test my registration, and when i did my reg, i didn't get an email to the addy i listed, any assistance?

not sure if there is enough information to work with here,sorry?

WHICH registration were you testing? Your Joomlahacks/SMF forum software install?

Your registration to this forum?

(did you retry the registration? if it was accepted (but not sent) you should probaly get an error message: EMAIL address already registered)

Was testing the registration on my site and it wasn't sending the activation emails to the account i set up.

sorry about the delay- ok 1st off this is very serious as new members will be pissed if they spend all this time filling out forms then dont get a reply.

immediate work around(s)

1. Turn off email verification for a bit, to allow members to sign up while you work it out.

2. Start with an UNBRIDGED and UNMODIFIED version of Joomla 1.011 (any other version is unsafe).

Make sure you can register and it sends emails out.



3. Get an up to date copy of SMF and the bridge.

make sure your email configuration in SMF matches the config info in Joomla.
