Can someone pliz help me. I want a download option for a document which can be done only after registering..that can be done..I know that but I want to know also who have downloaded it.i.e the administrator can see which people have downloaded the document..

checked it now but it seems it is compatible only with 1.0x but mine is running on 1.1.10..sorry am a newbie..

Wow, 1.1.10?  Did you create that yourself?  I am not aware of any such release.  Are you sure you don't mean 1.0.10?  If so, then it is compatible.

The other option is Repository, which is used on this site.

docman is Waaaay better than remository - though it has some bugs, you can find answers quickly on the mambodocman forum.

Both Mambo and Remository have been pretty much abandoned and what support there is is undertaken by the supporters that still exist.

(Yeah, docman's folks are supposed to be concentrating on Joomla 1.5, whatever! Grin)
