Deleting CHecked Out items - SOLVED

I want to delete some checked out items as I changed to 'Search Engine Friendly URLs' and now my links dont work anymore.

I thought I would delete my various categories and sections and re-create then again as I didn't have many but they are all checked out and I can't get rid of them.

Can someone help me pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

Check them back in, admin menu ->System ->Global Check-in
While you're there, click the Help icon to learn more about that option.
