White page when patching joomla files

Hi

i have installed
Joomla 1.0.10
Community Builder 1.0.1
Joomla-SMF Integration 1.1.4.2
and others componets ZooMGallery...

the problem here is that when i patch joomla files (index.php) i can't see anything becouse the hole page is white, i have to un-patch joomla files for get the page work again.

i have a test site it has the three components too, but it works perfectly.

what i have to do to fix this problem?
